This end table named Gemella (twin), is constructed of walnut and finished with a rich ebony stain. This stained glass window was salvaged from a 1917 Detroit (Hamtramck) home. Hamtramck was named for the French-Canadian soldier Jean Francois Hamtramck. End tables are an important part of tying your living room together and they have been for as long as people have been trying to make living rooms liveable. Even the most minor piece of furnishings can impact the overall composure of a room, there is not such thing as an unimportant piece of furniture. The modern end tables were made to accompany the creation of the living or sitting room, as people began to spend more time chatting and entertaining in these rooms. They were usually crafted to match larger more prominent pieces for the room like the cocktail or the coffee tables, so they were essentially identical pieces. Now, however, end tables themselves are the focus of the designers' attention becoming stand-alone works of art. Eclecticasa offers pieces that are just that...stand-alone works of art...and function.
